Minister Chee Hong Tat is a politician from the People’s Action Party, Singapore’s ruling political party since 1959. Prior to joining politics, Minister Chee served as Principal Private Secretary to the late Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and later worked in Singapore’s ministries of Home Affairs, Finance, Transport, and Education. He was elected Member of Parliament in 2016 and is now Senior Minister of State for Singapore’s Ministry of Communications and Information. Minister Chee will share insights from his personal political journey and discuss challenges and opportunities facing Singapore in the next 50 years.
