Andrew J. Nathan Discusses Xi Jinping’s New Military Position in ChinaFile

Andrew-Nathan-Better550Andrew J. Nathan, the Class of 1919 Professor of Political Science at Columbia University, discussed Xi Jinping’s new military position in ChinaFile. Professor Nathan wrote this assessment after President Xi recently assumed the title of Commander in Chief of China’s Military, a position that he now holds in addition to his role as Chairman of the Central Military Commission.
