The Weatherhead East Asian Institute is a leader in the global and transnational study of East Asia. Through the INTERACT program, which offers undergraduate courses and teaching workshops to further the cross-regional, trans-regional, and interdisciplinary study of important scholarly topics, and the Dorothy Borg Research Program, which supports the study of transnational linkages between East Asia and the United States, the Institute offers many opportunities for educators, students, and the public to examine East Asia in a global and transnational framework.
