Audio and photographs are now available from the November 10, 2017 event “Repressing Revisionism in Vietnam, 1956-1960.”

During the standing-room-only event, Peter Zinoman of the University of California, Berkeley discussed his next book project, which surveys the intellectual schisms and literati debates in the backdrop of state repression of the arts in the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (DRV) in the 1950s. His talk was moderated by Lien-Hang Nguyen, Dorothy Borg Associate Professor in the History of the United States and East Asia at Columbia University.
