Qin Gao, professor of Social Policy and Social Work as well as the founding director of Columbia University’s China Center for Social Policy, is co-leading the recently added Mandarin-speaking sample study for the Robin Hood Foundation to better understand and address poverty among Chinese Americans in New York City. Dr. Gao states, “This new addition in the Poverty Tracker survey will enable us to learn a lot about this population and offer suggestions about how to better meet their needs.”
