Qin Gao Talks to the BBC World Service About China’s Plan to Eliminate Poverty by 2020

Qin Gao, Professor of Social Policy and Social Work and Director of the China Center for Social Policy at Columbia University, spoke on the BBC World Service’s “More or Less” February 2, 2018 radio program about China’s plan to eliminate poverty by 2020. The program asks: How does China measure poverty and is it possible for them to make sure, over the next few years, that no one falls below their poverty line?
