Study of the WEAI “The Age of Irreverence” is featured in the media

Christopher Rea’s Study of the Weatherhead East Asian Institute The Age of Irreverence: A New History of Laughter in China (University of California Press, 2015) has recently been the focus of media attention. Rea, an associate professor of Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia, discussed his book with host Carla Nappi on the New Books in East Asian Studies podcast, as well as with host Timothy Brook on a podcast from the Peter Wall Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of British Columbia. He also talked about the book on Confessions of an Aca-fan, the official weblog of University of Southern California professor Henry Jenkins.
