Takako Hikotani Moderates Japan Society Event on Trump’s Asia Policy

Takako Hikotani, the Gerald L. Curtis Associate Professor of Modern Japanese Politics and Foreign Policy at Columbia University, moderated the November 20, 2017 Japan Society event “Trump’s Asia Policy: Will the United States Retain Leadership in Asia?” The event featured Daniel Russel, Diplomat in Residence & Senior Fellow, Asia Society Policy Institute; former Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs; former Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Asian Affairs, National Security Council; and Kent Calder, Director of Asia Programs & Director of Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies, SAIS/Johns Hopkins University; former Special Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to Japan.
