Two 2019 titles in the Studies of the Weatherhead East Asian Institute series, Robert Culp’s The Power of Print in Modern China and Fei-Hsien Wang’s Pirates and Publishers, were recommended as highly commended runner-ups for the 2020 DeLong Book History Prize issued by the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing.
