Two recent releases from the Studies of the Weatherhead East Asian Institute were nominated to the International Convention of Asia Scholars’ 2019 Book Prize Longlist. “Japan’s Imperial Underworlds” by David R. Ambaras and “Japan’s Occupation of Java in the Second World War: A Transnational History” by Ethan Mark were among the 10 titles selected this year for the award in the category of English edition Humanities publications.
