The Weatherhead East Asian Institute is currently offering funding for research, language acquisition, unpaid internships, and dissertation write-up during the summer and the academic year to selected Columbia students committed to professional and academic engagement with East and Southeast Asia.
Beginning this year, all fellowship applications will be accepted via a new online system, launched in conjunction with the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures. Students should click here to create an account and submit an application.
The deadline for summer 2018 and academic year 2018-2019 WEAI fellowships and grants is March 16, 2018.
